Here's How To Arrange A Consultation With Stephen Gilman, M.D.
My goal with all my patients is to deliver the highest quality of addiction treatment. The focus of my psychiatric practice is
addiction treatment. And being Board Certified in both general psychiatry and addiction psychiatry allows me to also help you with any
co-ocurring general psychiatric condition that may be present.
First, Let Me Offer You A FREE 15 Minute Phone Information Consultation
Let's talk by phone first for 15 minutes or so. This will help me to see if I'm potentially the right person to help you. It will also
help you see if you feel comfortable with me. We'll discuss your specific situation and I'll answer your questions about buprenorphine
(Suboxone, Subutex) treatment and then see if it makes sense for you to schedule your first appointment. We can also talk about other treatment
options for opiate addiction, too. Please note that all potential treatment is in my NYC office. There is no such a thing as "long distance"
treatment.
And please rest assurred, there is no cost or obligation on your part. This initial phone discussion is an educational and informational
discussion about opiate addiction treatment and does not commit you in any way. Just call my office at 212-717-9138.
So there is no confusion, this phone discussion is NOT diagnosis or treatment of any medical, psychological or addiction issue, and does NOT
start or establish any doctor - patient relationship. It's simply a way for me to answer any general questions you may have about buprenorphine
treatment or other aspects of addiction treatment.
It also let's you speak to me directly, as oppossed to an office assistant, nurse or clerk.
The Possibility Of An In-Office Consultation and Evaluation Will Be Discussed
At the end of our discussion, we'll discuss the possibilty of an in-office consultation with me if you are in the NYC area. If for some
reason I don't feel I'm the right person to help you, I'll be direct and honest with you on the phone. I'll tell you why treatment from me may
not serve your needs. In addition, I'll give you some additional resources to help you locate a clinician who may better serve you. So
either way, you'll come away from the phone call with some valuable information about opiate addiction treatment.
I Like Helping People Who Already Know A Little Something About Me And My Approach To Treatment.
If you decide to call, please mention you took the time to read the informational articles on this site and whether you found it helpful.
I'm always looking for ways to further educate people about all facets of addiction treatment. I welcome constructive feedback.
I See People Mostly By Referral, And Know There Are People Searching For Buprenorphine Addiction Treatment From An Addiction
Psychiatrist
Since you took the time to search the internet for buprenorphine treatment, and took the time to read over this site, I want to make it
even easier for you to pick up the phone and give me a call.
You may not have heard about me via a referral, so this informational site is a way for me to tell you how I might be a resource for you.
